On uF there was a query asking about what the deal was with Twitter. This is it in a nutshell:
There's a few moving parts to this:
1. Once a day, you can "echo a snippet" on Twitter to refresh your actions. This is located on the right-side rail. You can only get the refresh once a day, so don't bother twit-spamming people.
2. There are uh.. 11 Masters of the Bazaar that all have twitter accounts. They are a gabby bunch, and several of us interact / roleplay with them. Several of us have had mini-stories with the Masters (i.e, Lex got a shiny brass ring, I got a boytoy, etc). I have all of the Masters and the PM/meta accounts here:

3. Some of us have been "echo"ing a lot of twitter stuff because the creators keep putting in new content. Or, we want to brag about unlocking new storylets, etc. Even I admit this can get annoying, however, I've been using the "echo" function to keep notes to myself. Some of us are also comparing notes with each other about different stories/functions in the game.
I would say, in the interest of not annoying the heck out of your friends, that you keep the twit-spam to a minimum. And welcome aboard.
