Starting out
Before you can start editing this wiki, you'll need to create a Wikidot account and then join this site by clicking the Contribute link on the left sidebar. From there, you can modify any page by clicking the Edit button at the bottom of the page.
You'll need to use Wikidot syntax for editing these pages. The Wikidot Documentation pages gives a general overview. It's probably easiest to just look at the source of an existing page, and copy stuff from there.
You can visit the sandbox to experiment.
Tips
Some notes specific to this wiki:
- Be sure to read the rules before editing any page!
- Missing content is marked in BLUE - keep an eye out for these and add information if you can. Note that anything Fate-related shouldn't be added to the wiki.
- Most Storylets can be found linked to from from a Places subpage or Cards subpage. Sometimes you have to dig several levels in to find it. When several storylets share a similar story-related Quality, group them on their own page. (eg. Hosting An Inconvenient Aunt Story)
- The Code Snippets (see left sidebar) has some pieces of commonly used code.
Templates
There have been a few different formats for storylets used on the wiki over the years, but for the sake of consistency, I'm going to propose that all storylets should look like this example (but see discussion):
