New Newgate Prison Cell

A miserable dripstone cell with a barred window and a straw mattress; and a magnificent view of the lights of the Bazaar reflected in the dark waters of the Unterzee.

(You begin the game here and have very few options but to escape and find better lodgings.)

An Abandoned Family Crypt

Sanctuary of a sort, and its occupants were stolen or eaten long ago, so there's plenty of room. But it's cold, depressing, illegal and dangerous. Find somewhere better!
1 card
(Not much better than the New Newgate Prison Cell. But, it's better than the Prison Cell. This is your Lodgings once you first escape New Newgate.)

The guest-room of a soft-hearted widow. Three hot meals a day and a real feather-bed go some way towards compensating for the weekly, and noisy, hymn-singing sessions in her parlour.
